At AirMusic, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If things don't work out, we've got you covered. Here's everything you need to know about refunds.

Our Promise to You

We believe in our AI music generator. That's why we offer a fair refund policy. If AirMusic isn't right for you, we'll work to make it right.

1. When You Can Get a Refund

The 7-Day Window

You have 7 days from your purchase to request a refund. This gives you time to try our AI music tools and see if they fit your needs.

Usage Limits

To qualify for a refund, you must have generated 10 or fewer songs/outputs. Here's why: if you've created 50 songs, you've clearly gotten value from the service. We think 10 generations is enough to know if AirMusic works for you.

First-Time Only

Refunds are available for your first purchase only. This prevents abuse while still protecting new users. If you've had a refund before, future purchases aren't refundable.

You're eligible for a refund if ALL these are true:

  • Request made within 7 days of purchase
  • Generated 10 or fewer songs/outputs
  • This is your first refund request
  • You haven't violated our terms of service

2. How to Request a Refund

  • Purchase date - When you bought your subscription or credits
  • Reason for refund - This is optional but helps us improve

We'll review your request and get back to you within 3 business days. Most requests are handled faster.

3. What Happens Next

If Your Refund Is Approved

Within 3 business days:

  • We'll confirm approval via email
  • Your refund will be processed

Within 5-10 business days:

  • The money returns to your original payment method
  • Timing depends on your bank or card company

What changes on your account:

  • Your subscription or credits will be cancelled
  • Songs generated during this period will be removed
  • You'll return to free tier access

If Your Refund Is Denied

We'll explain why and what options you have. Common reasons for denial:

  • Request made after 7 days
  • More than 10 songs generated
  • Previous refund on file
  • Terms of service violation

4. Situations Where Refunds Don't Apply

After 7 Days

Once the refund window closes, we can't process refunds. Set a reminder if you're unsure about keeping your subscription.

Heavy Usage

If you've generated more than 10 songs, you've used the service significantly. We can't refund after substantial use.

Repeat Requests

One refund per customer, ever. This keeps the policy fair for everyone and sustainable for us.

Promotional Purchases

Discounted or promotional purchases are usually non-refundable. Check the specific offer terms before buying.

Partial Refunds

We don't offer partial refunds for:

  • Unused portion of subscription periods
  • Remaining credits in credit packs
  • Partial months of service

Account Violations

If your account was suspended for breaking our rules, you're not eligible for a refund.

5. Subscription Cancellation (No Refund)

Maybe you like AirMusic but want to stop paying. That's totally fine.

How to Cancel

  1. Log into your AirMusic account
  2. Go to Account Settings
  3. Find "Subscription" or "Billing"
  4. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  5. Confirm your choice

What Happens After Cancellation

  • Your subscription stops at the end of the current billing period
  • You keep access until that date
  • No more charges after cancellation
  • You can re-subscribe anytime

No Refund for Remaining Time

If you cancel mid-month, you don't get money back for unused days. But you keep full access until your paid period ends.

Example

You paid on December 1st for a monthly plan. You cancel on December 15th. You keep access until December 31st, then your subscription ends. No refund for December 15-31.

6. Special Circumstances

Technical Problems

If AirMusic had serious technical issues that prevented you from using the service, contact us. We'll review these cases individually, even outside the normal refund window.

Billing Errors

Charged twice? Wrong amount? Let us know immediately. We'll fix billing errors quickly and issue refunds when we make mistakes.

Service Changes

If we make major changes that significantly affect the service you paid for, we may offer prorated refunds or credits.

7. Credit Packs and One-Time Purchases

Different from Subscriptions

Credit packs work differently than subscriptions:

  • They're one-time purchases
  • Credits don't expire
  • Same refund rules apply (7 days, under 10 uses, first time)

Used Credits

If you've used credits from a pack, we can only refund the unused portion—but remember, we don't do partial refunds. So effectively, once you use credits, no refund is available.

8. Annual Plans

Yearly Subscription Refunds

Annual plans follow the same rules:

  • 7-day refund window
  • Under 10 generations
  • First-time request only

Why Not Partial Annual Refunds?

Annual plans come with significant discounts. Allowing partial refunds would let people abuse the discount system. We keep pricing fair by sticking to these rules.

9. Frequently Asked Questions

"Can I get a refund after 7 days?"

Generally no. The 7-day window gives you time to try the service. After that, we assume you're satisfied.

"What if I forgot to cancel?"

Unfortunately, we can't refund because you forgot. Set calendar reminders for subscription renewals.

"Can I transfer my subscription instead of refunding?"

No, subscriptions aren't transferable. Each account is personal.

"What if the AI music quality wasn't what I expected?"

If you're within the refund window, this is a valid reason. Outside the window, contact support—we might offer credits or help improve your results.

"I bought the wrong plan. Can I switch?"

Yes! Contact us to switch plans. We'll adjust your billing accordingly.

"How do I know if I qualify?"

Check your account: when did you purchase? How many songs have you generated? Have you requested a refund before? If you're within limits, you qualify.
